Hi all,

I'm having a hard time getting into this endurance/health thing. It really seems overly complicated for what it is, The "only during combat" limitation to virtually everything also bothers me a bit... but anyways, I'm getting around that.

What causes me more trouble is how to get someone back up on his feet without necesseraly ending a combat. I have some party members who have some spells that can restore endurance, but nothing seems to be the right thing. I couldn't find any more clues, so is it even possible ?

And just to be sure too, when I have someone with only 1 HP, is there another way to heal him without going to sleep ?

Thanks for your help !

Ad 1) Paladin has special ability called "Reviving Exhortation" It allows You to "revive" one character per encounter from uncosciousness to battle. Oh and it is usable Only in combat ;-)

Ad 2) Nope. Maybe some potions but they increase max hp temporarily. Also have in mind that in expert mode there is no Agony (ergo character don't go to 1hp - they just die when it happens!).

1) Ha, that's too bad ! Don't have a paladin... Will have to find one ^^

2) As a matter of fact, I'd buy that more. If there is a way to revive them ! I'll ttry that once I finish the game first. And if it isn't possible, maybe I'll care for my characters just a little bit more =P

Thanks !

Just remember that using Reviving Exhortation on acharacter that HEALTH is low may cause him to die. It does return pretty good amount of endurance (depeneding on INT even to 450) but it does NOT give health back so Max endurance given will be reduced by actual character Health. If health is low and You revive him he may get killed easily.

Edit: there is Pellegina in Act 2 - she is a paladin. Just remember to turn off Auto-leveling for NPCs as it may affect Pellegina skill and she may go without exhortation You want her to have.

Edit 2: e.g. on how to kill character with Exhortation: If You cast 450 endurance exhortation on character with 17 health (and 0 endurance) it will go back to fight with 17 endurance and still 17 health so that he can be 1 hit-killed.

In part that is why Eder has one of the best armor in the game with the property of Second chance, just don't forget to upgrade the armor. Before the second part of White March, there is a heavy armor and light armor with the same property

The fast way to resurrect someone is with paladin (Revival exhortation) or the revival scroll (crafted or in store), otherwise the priest have the only two spells for it (I think lvl 5 and lvl 7). Of course, a paladin tank with talent and scroll is very useful as well.

The priest (and one item) have the Watchful presence which can be seen as preemptive tactic (as long health don't drop to zero). The armor that Pallegrina has (plus another stronger version) is another preemptive tactic (but for healing the user before he dies),

If you truly are losing all the health too soon, or play with the minimum rest possible, the talents for regenerating health (e.g. Field Triage) are very useful.

However, the next week the Patch 3.0 will be available and the Athletic skill will provided new tactics for restoring endurance (Can't remember if health too)

Yeah, that armor shines in combat ! I already enchanted it ; no I'm focusing on tanking him a bit more.

Thanks for the precisions on endurance, I'll have a closer look on scrolls to see if I can see something that helps out =)
