The second level of the endless paths has a sacrificial pit that leads to the fifth level. I took that shortcut and got stomped on by a drake and xaurips. Is that area doable at level 4? When I fight the drake it feels like I don't even stand a chance.

Pajama: I think you'd probably be better off to reload a game from before you went down the pit as level 4 is a bit too underpowered for this level. Or you could try running away, then try thinning out the hordes of xaurips before tackling the drake although he is a hard fight.
