Hi I've never been on this website for the release of a video game so I was just wondering if the down loader will be slow for the first day or so similar to mmos because of the website/downlload traffic. Thanks!

Usually the download is quite quick, but for a game like Pillars of Eternity it will probably get a bit overloaded on release day ;)

I've seen GOG upping servers dynamically when needing bandwidth (e.g. the gifted Fallout a few months ago), so I wouldn't be too worry about that.
Just use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/ , for Firefox, put "Network"->"Concurrent Downloads" to 1, queue all, and grab a cup of coffee.

So far I don't recall having a download speed slower than my Internet connection allows.

But it’s more an exception than the norm. Overall GOG delivery service is very good.

Well I guess it also depends on the Internet connections people have. Someone with 100 Mbit probably sees it more often, that he can't get 100% of his max speed.
