You could ask Support, though the usual answer to questions like this seems to be 'We're waiting for the developer/publisher to send it to us'.

The documentary has been released early *for backers only*.
"Regular" buyers will have to wait a little more before being given access to it.

Wait what? I have access to it now? Should have read the last backer update more carefully, I guess.

-edit- On closer inspection: no, it is not out for backers. My first clue is that it isn't available for my backer version download on GOG. My second clue was the *last* backer update that came out on May 8: "We have received the final cut of the Pillars of Eternity documentary and are going through it now. Shortly, we will be able to give an exclusive sneak peek of the documentary to our backers before the general public gets to see it. Be on the look out for an update about it in the next week or two."

So I would be very curious to hear why anybody thinks that it is released. Did somebody steal a copy and put a bootleg torrent out there, or what?

No "coming soon" here, with the Royal Edition. That’s why I suggested the account refresh.
You might want to contact GOG support about it if it is still mislabelled on your account, but don’t be surprised if it is not a "high-priority" task for them as long as you can download it ;)
