hello, i am running pillars of eternity on the latest mac osx software hardware, with the latest patch,
playing in fullscreen at 5120 by 2880 resolution. i have used the standard system preferences to map
the system provided take screenshot function of the full screen to the f13 key, on an apple all in one full sized keyboard and numpad. while in the game and i try to take the screenshot, it seems to take it without a problem, and indeed it does for the file is created, it appears where it should, and so on, until i look at the content of the image taken, and what i find is that instead of the image which should have appeared, all i have taken a screenshot of is simply completely black. i reload the game and i take some more screenshots and i get mixed results. the first image i take, of the obsidian logo at the intro, is completely black. the following five screenshots i take, of the menu, and of the loading screen, and of the inn, which was the first one which came out black, all appear as they should.
after trying it again a few more times, i come to the following conclusion.
the first time trying to take a screenshot from within the game after it has loaded, will always fail, whereas the ones taken afterward, will work just fine.
just incase anyone was having a similar issue with the game.
does anyone think this could possibly have a fix?
thanks
