After more than 10 hours of playing and passing what should have been specific achievements (act 1, stronghold upgrades, Od Nua levels) I haven't gotten anything! No cheats (albeit I've opened the console by accident before, I never used it for anything) no mods (I have a mod for 2, Deadfire, that enables more colours in character creation but nothing for 1 except custom portraits) syncing with cloud is on, so what could be the problem here?

Hello there,

I'm having the same issue with the game, I've just sent a support ticket and I'm trying to fix the problem sadly..I have some achievements but from months ago, it seems that this issue is recently.

I hope they can fix the problem soon, I like the achievements system and it's sad to complete one without the trophy.

I'm also having this issue. Just bought and downloaded the game last week. I got it on GOG because I want to support DRM-free games when I can, but I'm thinking of just playing on Steam at this point.

I am 16h into a Path of the Damned run with no achievements unlocking. I want to keep playing, but I also want that achievement for completing the hardest difficulty!

not sure if useful as I don't know how you installed the game.

I had been playing for years by means of the offline installers without any kind of achievements. Last year I finally allow Gog Galaxy to search and sync my PoE1 installation with it, and then achievements became available to me. After that, I just run the final from one character and some achievements appeared in atuomatic as completed.

I had been playing for years by means of the offline installers without any kind of achievements. Not sure about others in the thread but I had it installed through Galaxy. I did have a sync issue at one point with too many save files but I've deleted them since. Other games installed like this have working achievements.

This seems to be a bug introduced in a recent patch.

There was a beta patch (only available on Steam) released on October 29 that claims to fix the problem:

> GOG achievements now unlock properly.

However, GOG users will have to wait for the production version of the patch to be released to receive the achievement fix.

About to finish my first expert mode path of the damned run and it's pretty annoying I won't get the achievement for it. I mean I know I did it so whatever, but still.

Achievements have been broken for way too long, there's no reason for there to not be a patch for this.

No, the patch isn't out yet. Tomorrow is the 10 year anniversary of the game, maybe they're holding the patch back to release it on the anniversary?

Oh it is? I hope so. I tried rolling back versions and it broke my save files, so I updated it back to the most recent version so I don't loose the gish build I'm working on.

Yep, told Galaxy to download it now. I'll see if I can get that potion achievement to pop after it's done, that seems easy to get.
