I had the problem of Pillars of Eternity stuttering; I eventually figured out it was because of my mouse. If I move the mouse in circles quickly Pillars of Eternity freezes.

I reduced the polling rate of my mouse from 1000 to 250, went back in game, and haven't had any stuttering problems since.

Hope this helps some of you.


Edit: I removed the Logitech GHub software and rebooted the PC and am having no stuttering problems in POE, so it may have been because of that.
