I did it twice now, I made sure to drop the ball and NOT press back, I heard the "charge" sound when I hit 999, my score reads 999, but I don't get an achievement.

What's the deal?!

It popped after completing the game and running the game several times, and running GOG Galaxy as admin. Not sure which did it.
