I'm interested in this title -- playing SP offline -- but have no time for data mining intrusions. Has this been removed from the GOG version or is there the ability to turn it off? Sounds like it may have been related to online MP play; I'm taking it that the EULA was regarding MP. Anyway, still trying to figure out from reviews what the situation is...

Any thoughts welcome.

You can opt out from telemetry in options.

The game is made with Unity 3D. All games made with that engine spy on you, that's not something that Snapshot has any control over. Snapshot may also collect additional data themselves, that's certainly possible.
