hey all, anyone wise here that can help me, I get an error 32, and I cant install the game. I have tried running it as administrator to no awail.

Could it be because the game is not fully win 7 compatible?

Do you have any AV sofware running in the background? Try disabling it, especially real-time scanning feature.
I tired disableing the real time anti virus scanning, it fixed the issue and now I can both play and enjoy them game, but am not happy that my security is at risk, yes, I am well aware that all of GOG's games are viral free. But at least now I can enjoy some classics.
You are probably smart enough to know this, but just in case, now that the game is installed you can turn your anti virus protection back on.
Yes youre right, I knew that, but the moment I turned it on again, the game instafroze on the first screen.
that sucks *hits daohor's anti virus* bad anti virus.

could you try adding pharaoh to an ignore feature?
if you can't get around turning off your anti virus I also suggest disconnecting/ turning off your Internet while playing, then you don't have to worry as much.
Thanks for the words of encoruagements. Great minds think alike, I did turn it on the ignore list after my previous post. And am now once again enjoying my trials in old egypt, so all I can say is...

Of to the marsh I march, for the reed I need. :D
So I tried turning off my AV, tried in multiple browsers, and downloaded multiple times after a restart and every time I download it, it says file is corrupted, try re-downloading. So what am I doing wrong?
