I've shown her everything I can from my inventory as many times as possible and now I can't interact with her anymore, interact with anything else in the room or leave... I see someone else has had the same problem but there was no answer. It feels like a bug... Please help!

Did you solve this problem? I've never had this occur in my playthroughs.

Clicking on Dr. Harburg once and then showing the items from your inventory (letter from father twice) should trigger the video where the meeting ends and Curtis leaves. If it doesn't, then it is most likely a bug.

Necroing this thread because the same thing happened to me. I "solved" it by replaying from the beginning exactly following the walkthrough at walkthroughking.com (forum won't let me post a link), but skipping all of the videos. Also, when I encountered the bug I was using SCUMMVM version 2.5.1. For the replay I used the version bundled with the game by GOG - not sure if this was cause or not.
