Since you already released many emulator-using games (dosbox, scummvm) wreren't you tempted to release Amiga version of Personal Nightmare, which can boast much better graphics? (PC version had only 16 colors - Amiga had... I dunno 64, 128 colors?). Just look at the screenshots:
Amiga: http://www.mobygames.com/game/amiga/personal-nightmare/screenshots/gameShotId,222602/
PC: http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/personal-nightmare/screenshots/gameShotId,59176/
I daresay that Amiga emulation nowadays is mature enough to warrant a release, but on the other hand, there are probably murky copyright issues involved.
The Amiga & AtariST versions of Personal Nightmare offered better graphics (32 colors), effects (fading effects between day and night) and more sound.
Any version of Personal Nightmare can already be used via ScummVM (SVN version), so further emulators would not be required. Although there are a few issues (no fading, palette glitches in inventory) in the Amiga and AtariST versions currently under ScummVM.
Wow, I did not know SCUMMVM supports Personal Nightmare! I checked on this page and it said it's not supported: http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Personal_Nightmare
So which exactly version of SCUMMVM should I download to be able to play Amiga version of personal nightmare?
You need to download a daily snapshot of ScummVM SVN.
Greetings to all forum users.
Talking about the Amiga version, I read in a review on this site by user igor8472) that "Personal Nightmare is converted to PC great horror-adventure classic from Amiga."
Could anyone confirm this, possibly by citing some source, or otherwise tell me which was the original version? On Mobygames I could only find that the Amiga, PC and Atari ST versions were released in the same year. Thank you.
Excuse me for resurrecting this thread (but since GOG is about resurrecting old games, I hope this is excused) but, really, it would be so great if GOG would include the Amiga version of the game - as files, not as ADF-images - to be used with ScummVM.

The Amiga game not only has better graphics but sound as well and with ScummVM it can be played without any problems or hassle on various platforms.
