Will we ever be getting the expansion pack? Would it be a seprate download or free for those of us who bought the original off GOG?
Second the question. Im getting to the end of this thing. Amazon have it cheap, so I'll go there at need, but I'd prefer to buy from GOG.
I am also interested in this question.

I would also like an answer to this question. Is it on the wishlist yet?

Yes it's on the wishlist.
well as it look out of circulation on Amazon i say odds are good for it to arrive on gog
I'm very interested in this game. Just waiting for the expansion.
I believe Perimeter is here due to a deal with Codemasters. Emperor's Testament was published by Paradox Interactive (who owns the GamersGate service, one of GoG's competitors). So it's not quite as straight-forward as one would like to believe.
So Emperor's Testament is a standalone add-on to Perimeter? Or a sequel?

It requires the original game, as far as I remember. BTW, you won't find anything except a new campaign there and a couple of new units.

3rd party "expansion" basically. Sort of like the add-ons that were released for Starcraft in the day (Retribution, Insurrection, etc).

Interesting- it doesn't appear that GamersGate is selling it as such...
i bought emperor's testament a few days ago for $5 from gamersgate (i think its still on sale)... but im not sure what it is i bought. the game plays fine by itself, i dont have the original perimeter... how can i tell if emperors testament includes the original or not? if ET comes after the original, i want to play the original first... or does it matter, storywise?
^^ answered my own question buy just going ahead and buying perimeter from gog... yes, emperor's testament from gamersgate is a stand-alone expansion, no it doesnt include anything from the original perimeter, yes it matters from a storyline perspective :)
Emperors testament is on sale at both Gamersgate and Impulse.

Seems like they are selling it stand-alone.
