Hi all,
I paid off my debt very early on in the game. I don't have items in storage. However, over a few turns, i get a message saying that I get "credit for X amount of thalers in Y town". Then, i realize the money is in the office and suddenly owe thousands of thalers, which will accrue interest over time.

What is happening? Has anyone experienced this and found a reason for it?

Oops...
nevermind, i figurred it out. I needed money in the office so taxes can be paid. If there is no money a loan is automatically made.
