In the PC version of Kingmaker, you could play a kineticist. However the implemented class was missing one of the class features, the class benefits (expanded element) of level 7. In the PC version, the ability to pick up an infusion/utility were removed entirely which basically pushes your build back by a few levels.
For example, a fire kineticist would be normally be able to fire off AoE blasts with the feature at level 7. In the PC version this is delayed until level 9, when normally you'd be taking something else.
For anyone who plays PF, having a key feature missing and their progression stalled for x levels is a rather long time to wait. That said after I made that discovery through play, I went ahead and kept with the character rather than start over.
I understood most of the changes implemented with the PC vs. the PnP version...but this one stumped me. While in the end I shrugged it off I am curious if this issue was addressed in WotR. Granted I'm probably going to find out soon as I'm rolling one up now because I love the class :)
