Hi all,

at first I liked the changes compared to Kingdom Management from Kingmaker, but while the rest of the game has now very user friendly Tutorial Hints, this mode has maybe one or two and then go for it.

I for example had until the end zero clue that you can build also inside this tiny little things on the map, what looks like pipeconnectors in Simcity.

So after Drezen I was not able to keep up with sheer amount of Daemons that hell let loose. Is it really neccecasry to keep it in manual mode, to finish he Mythic Paths?

If so, I would start all over again.
Oce you start building and upgrading the villiages and towns you're able to recruit in bigger numbers - and once you get a couple of decent sized armies it gets very manageable - it's just - getting to that point can be a damn slog - ESPECIALLY if like me you totally bonkers up a battle or two and watch a large force get decimated.

I pretty much focused on generals with healing abilities and clerics with healing so you didn't lose too many soldiers carrying over between battles.
I never got any tutorial hints at all for the crusade stuff. After fumbling through one or 2 battles I just turned it off. It was too tedious and I didn't find it fun at all.
After I got to/liberated Drezen I completely gave up on Crusader mode. But turning on auto locks out some side quests and the Lich mythic path (not doing it this run anyway but I wanted the practice). So I edited my save file to give me a few unbeatable arrmies and millions of all three crusader mode resources.
I restarted from a previous save before Drezen, cause I choosed the Demon Path and figured out, thats maybe not so good for my first play trugh.

There are indeed some more Tutorial Hints maybe introduced in the first bigger patch 1.00c. I read them this time more carefully.

Still its very overwhelming since maybe its just me, but the time counting is way off. Its like you have 3 timelines, one for the normal party, one for Card Game and one for the Crusade Mode. They somehow are not synced in my opinion.

Well I ended up editing my save file also and gave me tons of hellknights...

cheers,
Lutz
I have also resorted to cheating my way through crusader mode. It's actually a fun little distraction this way but nothing I would want to put much time and effort in.
