Just curious. Are there later any possible upgrades available from Explorer edition to higher versions?
Budget is at the moment a little tight and I wonder if there will be later a chance to purchase edition upgrades and/or being able to purchase pre-order items later separately?
I don't mind paying extra for them down the road. I am just curious about that catowl pet. :)

Well, it looks like the Owlcat is a pre-order bonus, and comes with every edition of the game. I would guess that once the game releases, it won't be available any longer. Therefore, if you've preordered even the cheapest version, you'll get the pet.

It would be not the first pre-order item which got later available for purchase. But that's fine as pre-order folks get the cutie-feather for free.
Maybe down the road they have a heart for the later looters to sell them their hooters...hey, that rimes. :)

Nobody actually answered this question. I am thinking about buyng the Exploer edition to try it out but want to know if I can upgrade to higher version ie. Royal or Premium etc later withought having to buy the entire game multiple times. If I like the game it seems like Premium would be the way to go for all the extra content. If I don't enjoy the game and end up not playing much then it would be unfortunate to go straight to bying the Premium. Is there a Demo version?

Yesterday on the stream dev mentioned that it's on their wishlist as well, but that it would have to come after they fixed the bugs.

I would love to give more of my money to upgrade as well. Hopefully they will work onm something soon, seems like a no brainer for any game that has tiers. Why can I upgrade some but not others?

Well...I purchsed the game (2nd tier) and now when I try to open it, it crashes. Upgrade to higher tier seems immaterial at this point.
