I hadn't checked for a few days but last patch I installed was 1.04something (any idea where I can find the version my game is currently running), but today the oldest patch is 1.06 so I'm missing a patch or two from between my last uodate and now.

Where can I find the missing patches??

The latest patch at the moment is 1.0.8c.
From version 1.0.7 and up you can check the game version in the main menu of the game.
Unfortunately, GOG removed older patches from the download section.
Just download the latest complete installer or use Galaxy.
Going from 1.0.4 to 1.0.8 it's about +10GB to download anyway.

Yup, and if you're on a platform without GoG Galaxy, you should refund and get it on a better supported platform that actually provides patches.

I choose to use the GOG Downloader client files and manage my own updates. There are a lot of problems caused by auto-updates and by using the cloud. Maybe someday Galaxy will be a clean machine (Steam too, for that matter), but currently that is not the case.

If you are determined to patch it yourself, then I have seen where people have opened support tickets and the staff have sent them the missing patches, on request.

It's funny how GOG Galaxy essentially starts to destroy the original gog idea of having all the freedom and so on...
I don't get it why its that hard for GOG to keep all the patches, from the first hotfix to the latest version. Maybe people wanted to wait for the patches, maybe they didn't have the time to patch from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4 the day it was released.
But now? Just reload the whole fing game. There are people here who have really bad internet connections. Not allowing them a good experience because you don't want tot keep 8 gigs of patches in your library is just pathetic.
