I get the error "Installation failed. Disk access problem" using GOG Galaxy. I have a quite new iMac with OS 10.14 Mojave. Do anyone else experience this?

I got the same problem. I can start the game up directly from where it installed in /Applications, but not from Galaxy.
I had similar problem - The GOG installers asked for permissions (I cannot recall but something to do with disk/folder access), which I enabled in the "Security & Privacy" Pref pane. Installers go through the installation motion without further problem, but I cannot find the games in the Applications folder (which I selected as install destination). Repeat the installation process yielded the same result.

MacBook Pro 2017. Clean install macOS Mojave. The games I was installing - Fez and Hyper Light Drifter.

Still trying to figure out the problem / waiting for solution ...

Edit - Not using GOG Galaxy.

I have a MacBook Pro 2014. I get this message as well. Running 10.12. What do I do? This doesn't happen with Steam games.
This problem affected my mac until 1.08 or so. It was eventually resolved completely.

I definately am using galaxy, though.
Hello!

Is this problem affects only our game or other games too (with or without GoG)?
So, these other messages are from before I purchased Pathfinder. I was able to install it just fine after I purchased it, but the recent update (using GOG Galaxy) resulted in the error about disk access. As a result of restarting GOG to see if adding GOG Galaxy to my "Full Disk Access" rights in my OS Security settings, the prior installation was identified as corrupted and it's currently reinstalling.

As for if this is only for Pathfinder or other games, I have only noticed it on Pathfinder, but...it's the only game I have installed that is currently getting updates--thus, I have no idea if it's specific to Pathfinder or not.

Mac OS 10.14.2, GOG Galaxy 1.2.51(27)

I tried reinstalling from Galaxy while writing this and it refuses install on top of the broken one. Nice! (That's almost certainly a galaxy problem).

Might see if downloading the actual installer and installing it that way works, but, honestly, this game isn't fun due to the sluggishness on my computer, so I may just delete it altogether and try it again once I ditch this 4 year old mac for a shiny new windows computer. It looks like a fun game, but I think Mojave has really butchered performance on this computer. Maybe this would have worked on my machine before I upgraded? Who knows.

That is a problem similar to what happened at the previous patch. The patch broke the installation and Pathfinder was unplayable for a few days, until a correction to the patch.

Let's hope somebody at GOG will see this post and has for a fix.

Best regards

Right now 1.2.0 won't install properly for me from Galaxy - I tried a couple of times after the 1.1.6->1.2.0 update failed... no luck. Still on 10.12 there. Haven't tried the standalone installer.
I can't update to 1.2 via GOG Galaxy either. It says that the Installation is Broken. (On an up-to-date Mac)
