v.1.0.2 means another 30GB to download... No patch update? Not cool.

Edit: Oct 2. Solved/Fixed: 1.0.3 available for download together with patch upgrades: 1.0.1 -> 1.0.2 and 1.0.2 -> 1.0.3

Very true.

At this point, I'll probably just hold off trying to play this for like a week and come back to it after. I'm really not into downloading 30 Gig every day... (while I appreaciate bugs being fixed, mind)

At this point it was a mistake to select this store to get the game from.

Your grudge is understandable. GoG (used to?) means "Good *old* Games". Note that GoG still releases very (~ eighties) compilations.

I'm very patient man when it comes to launch-day-release games on GoG ;-)
Also, for this particular case, Dev/Publisher might share the blame?
