Hello.

The description says "This skill enables you to ... learn or borrow spells from spellbooks or scrolls ..." but there doesn't seem to be any roll involved when copying scrolls to my spellbook.

So, is the skill description misleading? Or what are actual mechanics of copying scrolls to spellbook? For a Wizard.

Is it always 100% success, no matter what? Or is the Knowledge (Arcana) skill actually involved in some way?

Thanks.
When they made the game they combined the descriptions of Spellcraft and knowledge Arcana. Spells are learned are 100% with any wizard archtype providing 4 limits are respected.

1. It is on the spell list for the wizard or other arcane class.
2. The spell is not one of your opposition schools and a cantrips aka level 0 spell
3. The scroll is in your inventory
4. the character is alive and not under the influence of a mind control effect

I see, thanks for the explanation.
