Is this game turn-based or realtime? I'm considering buying it if the price drops but I definitely don't want accidentally waste my money on another realtime RPG.

Realtime with pause for the most part.
Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny, if you're familar with any of these then you'll know.
I'll remove it from my wishlist then. I hate every one of those games.

Is there any way to hide it in the store so I don't accidentally wishlist it again?

I don't believe so.
It's realtime, but you can pause anytime.

Realtime rpg? Might I suggest watching some videos on youtube, that will give you an idea of the combat.

That describes the vast majority of realtime games

I suppose it does, as stated above. However, Realtime with Pause specifically means that you can issue orders while paused, which does not describe the vast majority of realtime games. Some also have multi-command queues, but I'm not sure if this game is one of those, since I never tried.

You can also set auto-pause in such a way that there is almost no difference between RTwP and turn-based. For example, Pathfinder: Kingmaker has around 24 auto-pause options, including pausing at the start of each round. The main thing you lose with RTwP vs. turn-based is that if you can disable animations, turn-based combat is faster (but many turn-based games are fond of their animations, and only allow limited skipping).

There is a mod now that makes it turn-based which works pretty well. It's not perfect, though.
Can´t tell if OP is trolling or not, you can´t like RPG´s and not enjoy Baldurs gate. xD

You could uninstall galaxy client and delete your gog account that way it's pretty sure you won't see it ever again.
Uninstalling steam also would help because the game is also there. Ultimately you must have internet, so I advice to remove any browsers from your pc or cut your network cable.

However if you want to be 100% sure this game never appears again best course of actions would be to throw the pc out of the window.

:)

On Steam it's already hidden. I added "real-time with pause" to my 'tags to exclude' list in store preferences. Is there any equivalemnt to that here?

There is a very good mod turning it turn-based on nexus. :-)
Like you, i prefer to play turn based game,
Both in 4x and rpg (and this is why now i have PoE2, since they allowed turn base system)

For this game, you can pause for lot of events,
And you have a mod to switch the game to turn based system

https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/109

i'v not tested it yet.
