I've played D&D 5e before but only briefly. I know Pathfinder is a little different, and it's my first time playing Pathfinder: Kingmaker. I decided to make a Magus (Eldtrich Scion) but I'm really unsure of my build, as I do seem to have some difficulty with it. (Tried uploading a screenshot but apparently it's not working for me)

Half-Elf, Female

LV. 5
--------
STR 10 +0
DEX 19 +4
CON 10 +0
INT 10 +0
WIS 12 +1
CHA 18 +4
--------
+3 Athletics
+10 Persuasion
+0 Knowledge Arcana
+5 Knowledge World
+6 Lore Nature
+1 Lore Religion
+1 Mobility
+6 Perception
+1 Stealth
+1 Trickery
+4 Use Magic Device
--------
Armour Proficiency Light
Simple Weapon Proficiency
Martial Weapon Proficiency
Armour Proficiency Medium
Point-Blank Shot
Precise Shot
Rapid Shot
--------

I have a bunch of spells I got here and there, too.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I would suggest not going ranged on scion. You lose a good chunk of what the class does for nothing. Also light armor sucks and medium armor is only good for bards. Armor in general is under-performing, except for mithral heavy plate.

Oooh, I see, so I guess I should stick to melee weapons, then. For armour, doesn't heavy armour impact casting? Magus seems to have spell-casting abilities, so shouldn't I stick to light or medium armour to have high chance of casting success?

magus progresses through armor with levels. he gets medium at 7 and heavy at 13, so it's not very advisable to focus on light. Generally, there are 2 brands of scions 1st one is STR scion16/DD4 that generally aims for heavy mithral armor and Dex Scion19/SF1 that goes for Monk Robes, both draconic, because free AC, wings and other goodies. that is if you wanna be more or less optimal

I think mine is a Dex Edltrich Scion. What's SF? Not sure where to find Monk Robes or "wings and other goodies". I just finished the part where I finally started managing a kingdom.

SF=scaled fist monk. Monk robes can be found just a bit past midgame. LG ones are sadly vastly superior to others in 99% cases. Wings you get at 15 for a draconic bloodline.
