Has anyone successfully finished this quest or is it bottlenecked to the failure resolution? I brought back the feather tokens, niad seemed happy, released the hostages, Corax says they died.

Known bug? Any work around?

only real way to fully solve it atm is to pass all skillchecks, including sending them to get the feathers, then you talk to dryad so she lets them go and then you talk to a lumberer so he rewards you.

But after this they will still behave like you failed the Quest the worst way possible(from their point of view)

not sure about that. if you pass all persuasion checks you can go to dryad and hug her so she leaves, after that you talk to the lumberer for a reward and everyone goes on their merry way.
I got the hug&the ring but nobody leaved and if i tried talking to the lumberer or a secound time with the dryad all behaved like i had done the worst.

Maybe they fixed it in the meanwhile but it was bugged for me.

worked like that for me since day1. pass all checks and everyone goes home.

He's right do it later in the game when you can do what is it three dc 22-25 skillchecks or save-scum like a B^^^H

It appears to be a slime chance or the logger boss reacting as if you succededI think you have to beat the skill check by a certain margin . I do not "Know" that's what it is but at 8th with a 24 cha maxed persuasion and some sundry buffs I usually get itIt's a frustratingly lage amount of work for a small quest hopefully it'll be fixed
