suffer till creeping doom. degenerate kiting of enemies around spiky bits with your pet is the best option for damage in the meantime. Then sit back and watch creeping doom kill most everything. Done. Druid is not exactly an interesting or diverse class and does degenerate solo runs a lot better than party play where all the terrain stuff will just get in the way and annoy the hell out of you.

Feyspeker is probably the druid you want for a caster as mirror image and improved invis will allow you not to die the moment something looks your way funny. At least not that very moment.

Feats will likely be conjuration and summoning. Heighten for creeping dooms. Again, not very complex, but your meatshields will be bit better, so there's that.

As to which one is better... Sorc sure is better for party. For solo unfair there is some debate and feyspeaker might actually inch that out if only for the creeping doom alone. Druid also 'might' be better for very ranged-heavy comps, but the game is not very kind to those, so it's a debatable advantage.

Not OP but was your tripping balls shifter druid build ever updated to work for Hard difficulty? I saw you mentioning before that it was a meme spec but later you changed some stuff around.

It's inherently a meme. Not much can be done about that. Druid just doesn't have many tools for it. I guess you can go feyspeaker instead now that it's BAB is fixed and at least have mirror image and improved invis to your name to help with the surviving part of the equasion.

Alright thanks. I'm just really interested in playing a main character druid in a party. I guess I could use your solo unfair druid build instead and just be a deadweight until he gets creeping doom? I know the kiting tactic won't work. I can't find any other druid builds. One is too weak for Hard and one is for solo. :|

Take degenerate druid and use him as a summoner with heals and utility. Problem solved. And probably switch to feyspeaker as it's bit better now that the bugs are fixed. If you don't play on unfair natural rhythm on a buffed smilodon is insanely good too.

Thank you. Does taking Fey Speaker change anything to the talents I pick or will it be mostly the same?

Nah. It's just few more spells, which will mostly be defensive illusions.
If you really want you can also toss dodge to monk, remove crane style and wing as those were fixed too so you have to attack in melee now(which is not something you will do often) and add illusion foci for some offensive illusion fun.

Wow. Were the completely fixed, or is there still some cheese left?

Well there is cheese in a way they still work with every melee weapon in the game, but now you have to make an attack action to make fighting defensively work for the next round. Not exactly useful for a caster.
