Greetings,

I purchased and installed Pathfinder - Kingmaker from GoG Galaxy yesterday.
With and without a launcher, I got consistent BSODs every 1-2 hours of play (0x1E).
Right off the bat I had a problem with Lost Focus in Full Screen (not maximized window).
It would intermittently go to desktop. At first I played with the Full Screen/Capture Mouse settings.
But I think what resolved the focus issues was launching the game without the GoG Galaxy Launcher. However, I do need to resolve the BSODs, I have many games more intensive in CPU & GPU demand, but this is currently the only game having this problem, it's not a windows or manufacturer driver problem. I need your help.

Operating System Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU AMD FX-8370 12 °C Vishera 32nm Technology (water cooled, temp
misreported as 1/2, no overheating issues)

Application Control. (fans 50% at 40C, never passed 65C yet)
Storage 1863GB SanDisk SDSSDH32000G SATA Disk Device (SATA (SSD)) 24 °C
No Paging File (will not install one, see RAM)
Optical Drives ASUS BW-16D1HT SATA CdRom Device
Audio Realtek High Definition Audio
Other Software AVAST AV Free, PeerBlock, Keyscrambler.
Network Updated to the latest .NET 4.7, no DNS client, no DHCP client, static address.

PS: I despise and see no troubleshooting value in game launchers, they add many problems to the equation & run 4 - 6 modules themselves. I see no troubleshooting in the game reporting back, there is no communication with the user, does not address issues. Other than technical issues, the game suffers from a Low XP, Low Gold problem, not keeping up with the vendor price demands & levels too low to defeat some monsters in somewhat easy and even less Normal mode.

Would love to play this game for weeks & months to come,
Thank You,
A.S.

I think it exists as a recognized issue that Crossfire can cause problems in certain games, especially those developed with Unity's engine. I believe you can disable Crossfire for just only Pathfinder in the Catalyst software that comes from AMD's Radeon driver for your graphics cards, so you do not have to turn it off for everything else. Even if you disable Crossfire, a single Radeon RX 570 should smoothly handle Pathfinder fine. I also suggest not trying to force Crossfire to work. If I correctly remember, developers making a game with Unity must manually add support for the feature. It does not automatically come as a default in their beginning setup. It might have to do with how it naturally increases the size of Unity's already huge installs. Unity fortunately addressed this some length ago by allowing MUCH smaller updates. I ramble on, though.
