Anyone else having problems with the 2 bonus portraits?

After launching the game if I immediatley select new game then the bonus portraits are not visible. If I wait a long while (I'm not sure how long,was playing the game and then restarted with a new character) then go to new game the bonus porrtraits will be visible.

However, if after launching the game you immediately load a save game that uses one of the bonus portraits and then quit to the main menu and start a new game the 2 bonus portraits are instantly visible.

Yes. I was unable to select bonus portraits when creating a new game.
Following your finding, I was able to finally select bonus portraits!

It goes like this:
- launch the game
- create any new character (no bonus portraits yet)
- enter the game and play until UI shows up ( after ending introductory dialogue)
- quit to the main menu without saving

Now the main menu screen looks slightly different, dimmed and blurry.
- create a new character - bonus portraits are there!

Ilona, thanks for working out a quick way to get the bonus portraits and sharing it with everyone :D

As for the spellbook thing I had to uninstall and reload to fully fix it. the patch fixed it mostly but it still happened intermittently

I've just had the below response from a mod on the Steam forums for missing items. Would be nice to get the portraits fixed too. I've followed their instructions below, you may want to report the portrait issue as per below.

Just tried a new character on v1.1.0h and the bonus portraits are missing again for me.
THis time Ilona's workaround;

Yes, I am as well. But wait! There's more! When you get to Oleg's Trading Post, your ingame premium items won't be in the chest either!

Puts me in mind of that old song from elementary school "Two steps forward and one step back"

Just got to Oleg's and I too have the ingame pets & premium items missing too :(

Not sure if people are aware, in game you can now press F11 then on the right side of the screen click the bug report button, this will allow you to submit a bug report and will send a save game, screenshot & logs.

v1.1.2e my in game items are back but no bonus portraits unless I perform Ilona's workaround below;
