Hi everyone!

Parkitect is a really nice game.
But I wondered where I can get mods for the game,
because parkitectnexus.com is not available and Steam Workshop won't
download mods or other content without having the game bought there.

Thanks!

The modding community has sort of gone into stasis while the game is in development as the mods just get broken too frequently to maintain them. They should appear again after release (Hopefully with a working perspective cam mod as well).

Ah, good to know. :)
Thank you for your answer!
It there any way to get Mods for this outside of Steam? Starting to regret buying this on GOG :(
Unfortunately GOG does not offer something like the Steam Workshop currently, but some modders have made their mods available on their websites.
There's also this website that supposedly lets you download Workshop content: https://beta.steamworkshopdownloader.io

Simply put any custom content for Parkitect into the respective folders inside My Documents/Parkitect

HI Sebioff,

great that you are also looking here for your game.

The link which you posted is a good start to download blueprints via steam.

I have just one question. As the game is missing a coaster cam by default the following mod seems really great :
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1301723848&searchtext=

But where do i need to put the dll to work?
Tried it with your suggestion, did not work. If I place there another mod like buildinkit:_1 from here https://kenney.nl/parkitect it works after a restart of the game.
Wow, that coaster cam should just be part of the main game imo.

I'd also think that the best blueprints from the workshop probably should just be added to the GoG version of the game by default. Or add a free DLC for it.

Edit: Yeah it's definitely a pain having to download each blueprint. Don't think there's a way to say "give me all blueprints with 5-star rating".

I was able to find a page with a few elements which can be used in free-mode.
https://kenney.nl/parkitect

Also some of the Steam workshop mods (the kennedy stuff is also on steam workshop) has a download link for gog user.
It seems that the coaster cam mod has now gotten an update.

It is possible to download this via https://beta.steamworkshopdownloader.io/

Just enter on the page the following steam link https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1301723848

But where does i need to place the dll to be recognised. As i do not own the game on steam it seems that I can not comment directly on the workshop item.
Good news I got this mod to work and is reconized with the GOG version. As baconlorange previousely stated you can download this mods from the first link, just copy the Steam link and extract the files within your My documents/parkitect.

Just a side note, I believe you need to start the game first. The game will create 3 custom folders which are Mods, My Music and Saves. Put all three files within the Mods folder. For clarification the files are ParkitectNexus@CoasterCam.dll, Preview and steam_workshop-id.

As for the user that said this does not work with Windows 7 x64, this user might not have dx9 installed on his/her system.

I can confirm that mods work on Windows 7 x64, now I'm going to get back to riding my coasters!
Hey, side note...

I just bought the game and I'm enjoying the experience so far but I can't seem to find a first person view mode in the game.

Have you included that feature into the game? I noticed that immersion is a big part of the game and it would really help me in developing the immersion of my park if I could see it from the perspective of the guests.

Sadly the game doesn't have this feature built-in. But this mod will allow you to ride your coasters in first person. Just put the .dll file in 'Documents/Parkitect/Mods' and it'll appear in the mods tab in the options menu.

EDIT: To use the camera point at a ride and press 'r'.
