I have this game on GOG and I have this issue where as soon as I take the NET accelerator mission any time the game has to load something (excluding loading screens) it freezes when I travel to other planets and it freezes when I walk on planet 3 to go to the base.

I'm running the GOG version of the game and on windows 11. I have an error about C++ runtime. Ive downloaded all C++ redist to no avail.

another thing worth mentioning is that this is true for all saves after this. every time a planet is loaded when fast traveling or when on the surface and walking around the game freezes.
