Is the Core Duo and 2 GB RAM as described really necessary? Or would a single P4 2Ghz & 1 GB RAM be enough?
I ask because many games (especially older ones) have often exaggerated requirements, but actually they're not that high. Not only at gog, generally.
And Papers Please does not look like I need a shiny high-end pc ;-)
I would buy it instantly if I knew that it would run on my good ol' machine...

So how are your technical playing experiences and/or what's your hardware???

It will probably run fine on your PC but I set the minimum requirements where I thought was best. Normally, the problems are more related to incompatible OpenGL drivers which prevent the game from running at all. If it does run, it'll likely perform well enough.
