Hey Guys,

When I first installed this program Norton Internet Security had no problem with it. However my PC was acting funny one day so I used Norton Power Eraser and it detected Paper Sorcerer.exe as a rootkit.

Ever since then I have tried to re-download this game and Norton declares it as unsafe.
I know most of you will probably tell me to let Norton give it a go and let the program pass.
However I am wondering if somehow I am in trouble of a "man in the middle" attack. Or possible the Download Ject
Virus. Yes I know its old but I am wondering if someone, somehow has a modded version.
Besides Norton, I am running Spybot S&D, Malwarebytes AntiMalware, and Peerblock. My protection is pretty good.
So I don't really know what to do.

Any help? :-(
"Paper Sorcerer.exe" or "PaperSorcererPC.exe"? (Or something else?)

I just ran the latter (which is the file that GoG's installer created) past Norton Internet Security and it didn't flag anything; Norton's rating of the file is "Good".

OTOH if you're running several anti-malware programs at the same time it's quite possible that they're conflicting with one another and triggering false positives.
Hmmm. I just downloaded it using the GOG downloader. This time Norton did not flag it.

I wonder if that made any difference.

PaperSocererPC.exe is clean, l think like I said , using the GOG manager helped. I don't know why, perhaps my download manager is infected.
