trying to use pg2 on mobile pc running xp, so no vista or win 7 problems.
Hw requirements much more then requested.(2gb ram,dual processor)
directx updated, already using a game form gog (heroes3) with no problems.
dowloaded and installed pg2 with no issues, but when i try to start pg (both exe files, same problem) the sw goes in immediate abend, asking me as usual i i want to report the problem to microsoft.
what can i do?

It's crazy anyway noby at GOG solved this simple issue!

Well, not everyone encounters the fault and GOG might not have had the problem during their testing. Just one of those things, and that's the beauty of forums like this: members in that original thread finding and posting solutions.

Anyway, enjoy! I bought it and completely suck at it so I'm stuck about 6 levels in. Hopefully you'll fare better than I. : )
