Hi,

at Finland (PG2) I always get an 'Axis loose' message while i have 4 turns to brilliant victory. Is anybody experienced it too? Any idea?

How many victory hexes do you control when this happens and are there units in them? If they are unprotected, maybe a unit moves in and you loose if you don't control any victory hex. The Finnish hex in the north is only a supply one.
A bit late to the party.

At the start you control several victory hexes. As far as I remember, If one of these is capture by the enemy unit then you automatically lose. Could that be what's going on?

Keep regular infantry units (that you sell after the map) on your initial victory hexes.

I remember some soviet tank or recon sneaks at the bottom of the map, when it grabs your primary victory hex, you lose right away,
Thank you for the answers, I will secure the v.hexes.

This is a common question for the Finland scenario and is a good lesson in recon and protecting supply lines, especially in the murky frontlines of Suomussalmi.

**SPOILER ALERT**

Hidden in the south eastern woods is a Soviet tank battalion within striking distance of your southern starting objective. Left untouched it will capture your starting objective causing an automatic loss. There are a few options to handle the Soviet tank battalion: search and destroy, or protect your supply lines by garrisoning captured objectives.
