I was gonna upload the drivers here but I see you cannot post files.. and it seems the PEDG forum is down today.

After LOTS of frustration on my win7 64 system I have some tips that will save people lots of time and frustration if they want to mod the basic game, or just run it better.

FIRSTLY - GET JSGME (jonesoft generic mod enabler) and install it into your game folder or better yet get a central installation - read the readme, you just make shortcuts and tell them to start in your game folders.

Many of the PE mods have annoying "exe" files to install them- these will overwrite your game files and most of them are buggy as heck and downright don't work (at least without my 2nd tip below)...SO...EXTRACT these exe files with WinRAR or similar prog and get the final folder (the one that looks exactly like the game folder's structure inside).. name it something and put it in the MODS folder of JSGME... now you have a SAFE LOGICAL way to enable/disable the mods...REMEMBER TO DISABLE THEM IN REVERSE ORDER (BOTTOM ONES FIRST) after enabling.

SECONDLY - (I can't upload here I guess) GET THE DIRECTX 9 DRIVERS... from dgVoodoo glide wrapper (a great wrapper)... Install the x86 drivers directly into your PE game folder... now things start working... WIN7 and later put the old directX drivers in folder that old games CANNOT FIND......
