Hi guys. Just got the game earlier tonight. Installed it and the Panzer Elite Three mod. When I attempt to start a campaign I get a loading screen with the red bar, then a windows system hourglass. The program "mymenu.exe" crashes. Any guidance?

Have you tried running the game without the mod?

Set windows 98 compatibility mode for the PE game icon on your desktop. To do this right click on the PE icon, then click properties, then click on the Compatibility tab and place a check mark in the box next to " Run this program in compatibility mode" and select
"Windows 98/Windows Me" from the list below. Click Apply and OK. Give that a try, PE3 requires this setting on most computers.

Another thing to consider is that PE must be patched to PE version 1.2 before enabling the PE3 mod.

Yet another thing, PE3 simply doesn't like some video cards - I believe it is especially fussy with any sort of integrated things.
My Netbook runs Panzer elite fairly well, but PE3 gives me MyMenu.exe errors.

pe3 is a mod of the continuing fan development of the original Direct X 5.0 game engine. The engine was not ready for such a mod, but the creator of pe3 decided "You can not stop me". Thus the mod wars of PE continued and the development of the engine was hindered.

The opinion of the 2009 conflict was that I was a child and I was the reason the modders did not progress. Looking back, this is too funny and too sad. I deleted the entire engine development archive because Mr. "you can not stop me" .

I can not be blamed because someone decided to hijack the work.
