So, I've tried downloading Painkiller Black three times now. Each time, when running the file integrity check, it gets to the very end and then fails because "setup_painkiller_black-2.bin" is corrupt or has missing files.

I've tried all the suggestions in the corrupt/broken DLs support article; none of them helped. I'm downloading using my browser (Firefox 3.6.10), not the GoG downloader. OS is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

At this point I'm starting to consider the possibility that the file's screwed up at the source. Any suggestions? I've managed to download and backup all my GoG games over the past two days without a single problem...except for this one. And since ...2.bin is a 1.6GB file, re-downloading it over and over is fast starting to wear on my nerves. And my bandwidth.

Have you made sure your antivirus isn't interfering with the download? Other then that its quite possible its on gogs end so if you haven't done already I'd contact gog support directly.

I made another attempt at it this morning, figuring a fresh boot might do some good. Evidently it did, since I finally managed to get a non-corrupt download. Woohoo! (I was pretty clearly missing some data from my last DL last night. Comparing the two .bin files, the one from last night was over 200,000 bytes smaller than the working one. Whoops.)

@ Ralackk: Thanks for the suggestion. It was certainly a possibility, although my AV's never interfered with a download in its life. I left everything running as normal when I finally got a working DL this morning, so I think the problem was more likely either in my connection yesterday, or GoG's servers being petulant with me.

i had the same issue the something screwing up on gogs servers my Gog downloder had to re-download part of the file

damn. downloaded five times already. no go for me. so sad.
