Hello everyone. As the title says I have a problem with Painkiller in the Dead City level. I killed the 4 butcher demons that are throwing cars at you and when i was heading further into the tunnel I died due to the exploding cars and was thrown back to desktop with a script error message. I closed the game via task manager and loaded it again, but this time I was thrown back to the desktop during thge loading screen with the same results. Then I tried to load an earlier checkpoint, but this threw me back as well with the message, that Painkiller is not working anymore. Does anyone else have this problem and might it help, when i simply play the level from the start again? Btw I used the PKKEEPBODIES command during my playtime.

So it crashes when you're trying to load a saved game?

If that's the case then here's a possible solution:

I can only suggest what I would do, which would be delete the game, reinstall, then install the powermad mod for Painkiller which enables more cheats. Then I would use the new cheat: pkalllevels
which unlocks all levels and then I'd resume from where I left off.

To install the powermad mod, you'll need the dot net 2.0 framework from microsoft.
