I use a Xbox One controller with the game (Windows10).
A strong vibration keep going, stop few second and comeback without reason.
That's kind of boring. At least If I could turn off vibration.
I know we can play with mouse & keyboard. Just to let you know.
Turn on and off the central Xbox button of the controller (for open the Xbox menu) stop the vibration.
Really weird!.... A ghost try to speak to me?
Precision: problem don't come from my controller. This doesn't happen with other games. Example: the non-stop-vibration appears every time I use the in-game-radio. And every time I have to use the on-off-xboxbutton-trick.

Great game by the way. Happy to finish it, happy to start all over again, & again, & again,...
Bravo people behind it.
Didnt know it, thx GOG for the gift.

Same Bug exists in the Steam version.

It looks like it's one of those silly bugs in indie games because probably developers just copy&pasted the xInput libraries on their dev environment but never bothered to check if it really worked.

Ok, thx.
I know I'm kind of late, but...
If anyone still has this issue, there's a quick solution that works for me on Win10 with a wireless Xbox One controller:
Simply make the game windowed (press Alt+Enter or set it in the Options menu) then click outside the game window (so that it loses focus). This stops the constant vibration for me and then I can go back into fullscreen (again, Alt+Enter or set in the Options menu) and continue using the controller.
Might be a bit frustrating having to do this multiple times, but it's not game-breaking if you really want to stick with the controller, like me.
