I noticed Overload on Steam got an update today, was wondering if we could get an ETA for when it will hit GOG?

Thing is I was kind of hoping I could play with my friend tonight online but he's using the steam version

are you talking about the patch that released yesterday? I see nothing that was released today.
Do you use GoG Galaxy at all?

Ok, I am home now. I checked the version of the game when using GoG Galaxy, and it is updated to the latest version. So if you do not want to wait for however long it takes for them to make an installer and test it, I would suggest using GoG Galaxy. Heck I would suggest using GoG Galaxy for any new game that gets released that way you get the patches the fastest. I have seen it take upwards a week for patch installers to be released, where as when using GoG Galaxy the updates come in around the time that Steam does. Just use it for when you want to update a game, and ignore it every other time if you like.

Hi yeah sorry, the patch released on the 8th, build 1829, and I'm on build 1818

Unfortunately, I am playing this game on Linux and GOG Galaxy does not support Linux yet :(

I do have windows 10 installed on another hard drive, so I guess I'm left with two options.. either keep playing this older build and wait for the update to hit the storefront/website, or boot into windows 10 and play it on there using GOG Galaxy, I'll probably just wait tbh

Thanks for the information though, I wasn't aware that Galaxy sometimes receives updates quicker and I do have quite a few other games as well that are new games and receive updates quite regularly
