I read today a post today from April 5th on the Steam forum from one of the developers named Totems that the game will not be getting any more patches. It has only received two update since release late last year.

"I've been allowed to openly share that there will definitly not be any further patches. I'm sorry to all of you who still run into some issues. I'll sure help as good as I can and others will too!"'

I'm beyond disappointed. I loved the original and I really like the remaster, but there are still a lot of bugs and other things that need fixed or changed.

Late post but that's sad, I was waiting for patches but apparently my 2014 computer is starting to show its age so I waited for hardware reasons too. Good to know its state though.

Were you able to finish it or is it too annoying to play? Any game breaking bugs?

I played original, but I didnt finish it.
I played second contact on my laptop from 2013 without single HW issue. Though my twon-ha disapeared.

We'll have to see if this changes at all now that THQ apparently owns Outcast.

Not sure whether this is a good thing or not, but THQ hasn't been terrible yet, so.
