The game was cheap and i played it back then on Segas Amazing Dreamcast, that i still have and use but hey! I wanted this game on my PC so. Installed it, started and the Intro has sound but there was and is No Sound, No Music, No Voices in the Title Menu and in the gameworld.

I was searching for the problem but found no solution : ( All my other GoG games run fine.

Win 10 Home 64bit Ryzen gaming rig with M.2 and all that Bling Bling

Today i tested the game on my Ryzen 4000 APU Notebook and it works fine.

I don't now what this could be?

I have the same issue. How did you solve it?

You have to cap the fps fps cap. i did it with radeon software

I was also having audio issues, and I solved it without capping FPS or anything.

I just went to:

indirectsound.com

and downloaded the latest version.

Unzipped the contents into the games directory, where the EXE is located, on GOG it's usually:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Omikron - The Nomad Soul

and it worked fine, much better than no audio!


I was also given the tip if that didn't work, perhaps going to:

github.com/kcat/dsoal/releases/tag/latest-master

downloading that, and unzipping that into the install directory might also work, but I didn't need to do this, so I can't verify if it works.
