"Wow, what a hater" is what you guys are probably thinking, actually im not a hater, i havent even played a good portion of the game, why? game breaking bugs people, you can only get past mission 1 if you buy the japanese incentive DLC, the gold edition (that we got free from gog recently) does not work properly, so really, dont bother playing this
HECK, selling games with game breaking bugs like this should be illegal

First of all, there's a thing called patches, and the community of moders can easily provide them. If there are none, then bad luck. The game was free anyway, so what did you lose? Exactly nothing.
Secondly, the industry doesn't work like that. By this logic, a ton of 80s and 90s games wouldn't have been released.

To my knowledge the free game was the 4 DLC version. That version currently has 2 game breaking bugs.
The 1st bug (ending credits after each mission) can be fixed by installing the Japanese Incentive DLC.
The gold version contains all 5 DLC and doesn't have the ending credits bug.

Although both the 4 DLC and the gold edition have been updated to 1.07, both still contain the 1.06 game breaking bug of Georgia Avenue.
The Garden Pier bug is fixed in the 4 DLC 1.07, so I assume it has been fixed in the gold edition too.

I haven't played the JI DLC in 1.07, but in 1.06 it had some minor none game breaking bugs.

There are people, me included, who actually bought the game. In my case that's the 4 DLC and the Japanese Incentive DLC.

I think GOG has this 30-day Money back thing. If I understood it correctly if you buy a game and it doesn't work
first they will try to fix it, or make it work on your system, and if nothing works finally you get your money back, if less than 30 days have passed.
I guess since Omerta was a gift, you will be offered another gift. At least I read so in the forums......
The GOG people are good.

And so the wait continue for the elusive 1.08 patch Kalypso said they were working on... On the plus side, Xenonauts.

Still on my wishlist.
Next month: Wasteland 2
End of the year: Jagged Alliance: Flashback

That's the Steam 1.07 update. I can confirm it works for the GOG version.

GOG Product Team and the game developers are working on it:
