What a great game! I own Old World on Steam and have had so many hours of pure fun. I see room for improvement though regarding the translation. I wanted to take a look into the language files by myself. Where can I find them?

Thanks!

If you take a look in the installation folder, you will find them in OldWorld\Reference\XML\Infos. They are spread amongst all the files that start with 'text-'

If you want to give feedback on translations or discuss language modding then the best place for that is the Old World Discord server https://discord.com/invite/eg4gBUV , either in #localization-bug-reports or #mods-creation

I found the files, thanks!

What software was used to create/edit those xml files? Of course they can be edited with something like Notepad++, but I assume there is a more clearly arranged way to work with these.

Whatever text/xml editor the developer who was working on it preferred. There isn't one proscribed software for it. I know at least one of our dev's uses Notepad.
