I just downloaded it, and as soon as it launches, it shuts down. I have updated it, and tried a few compatibility settings, but to no avail. Are there any solutions to this?

Had to refund.

As an additional detail: was running it on Radeon 290X.

I had the same problem - game didn't start.

Win 10 64, PC 11 years old, specifications sufficient.

I tried compatibility mode Windows 98 / ME, as recommended in one post:
