I have a pretty okay computer, but when I boot up the game, it merely stays at the "loading please wait" screen. Audio goes on fine, and my inputs make noises which would lead me to believe that it's on the title screen, I just can't see it. Don't really know what to do, as I can't even get to the main menu. I also have Windows 7.

I've been having the same problem, also on windows 7, I've tried changing the resolution, most combinations of the options and even compatability mode with no joy. Not meaning to jump on your thread without any help but I'm hoping eliminating options may help.

I also have had the EXACT same problem. Ive done some research online and on the steam forums(they released the game awhile back supposedly). What some people believe is the problem is that the graphics card you might have does not support openGL 2.1. I have a dell inspiron laptop with a intel HD graphics card. From what intel says on there website my computer should support openGL 2.1, but i still have same problem. Supposedly ATI and Intel graphics card suck with openGL though. Ive also contacted GOG support so if they give me any insight il be sure to post it in this forum.

Follow the instructions, and you should be able to play the game just fine (I was having the same issues as you until I did this).

I've the same problem too.
The game freeze in the loading screen and I heard some sounds but I can't do anything.
GOG give this game for 10$, It has to work,
