Whenever I load my save the game crashes to desktop. I'm running the 0.9.2.1.

try installing the latest update.
If that does not work, you may have to downgrade the game to an older version (say 9.1.4) and load up the save, then save it, upgrade again and then it should work.

Updating to 0.9.2.2 solved the problem. Thank you for chiming in :)

When I started with 0.9.0 (as I only get the manual updates I don't use galaxy) I found with my first update yes. I got crash to desktop when loading. For me I just started over because it is veeeeery hard to make money in the game I found.

There are some very interesting missions thought that can help you get some badly needed credits. It is a pity you can't manually save so you can "go back". This is a feature I really need as I like to go back and "roll back time" and go from a certain point incase where I am is a problem.

Might write a little script to do just that if it does not get implemented. I hate starting over :)

You can always just backup the save game folder, then copy it back later.

Yes I did work that out very early on ;)
The first thing I look for is keeping saves. I don't like "losing" everything and starting over. It messes with my Zen :)

It is also very important to me that I can FORK saves. So I can get to a point one save I do option A and another I do option B and I can always return to any state. That is how I like to play.
