I'm having a bug, after arriving to leo, there was a cargo pod floating around, got a message from some ship that told me, i could pick those scraps, they already picked the cargo...

..anyway, I go thre with my grappling arm to pick it up and can't moore, I have never used the grappling arm and don't have any idea how to use it, I try to do it as the encyclopedia says, plot course and the autopilot moores with it, the thing is, the autopilot(or even manually) never moores, the autopilot plots its course, when it's about to arrive goes on reverse as if it was going to go full stop, the thing is, it never goes full stop, burns the engine in revers until I have to manually stop the burn, just keeps driving past the cargo pod, if I go as close as posible manually, the option of mooring never appears, everything is greyed out as if I didn't have a grappling arm.

To avoid the auto-pilot zooming off into the sunset, before it starts to slow you down, set engine power to somewhere in the 20-40% range. For some reason it overdoes it at full power.

Does your ship already have a full complement of cargo pods? The grappler doesn't take cargo, it takes cargo *pods*, so if you're in the Ceres MK III and already have 8 pods, you have to pick one from the *right* side (ship's manifest) to transfer to the floating cargo pods. Once that completes and you have a free pod bay, you can then transfer a loaded cargo pod to the now-empty pod slot on your ship.

(Note this does mean some containers might not be worth grabbing if you have a bunch of shielded and temperature controlled cargo pods and you're looking at swapping one for a regular cargo pod full of scrap...)
