near the end of the game, the screen didn't show the number of the pod I was supposed to look at in order to proceed. I figured out how the pod chamber works and I tried to talk to Farley and open the book pods, with no results. I had to read a walkthrough to know which pod I was supposed to look at, in order to have the door misteriously opened for me...

Hi Beregorn. I'm having the same problem, did you ever find what the problem was? I've reinstalled the game but that did not make any difference.
