My keyboard does not work when playing the game? My mouse works, but i cannot use the hotkeys to cast spells or anything, i have to click and point onto a target creature, and i cannot open my inventory, journal, or even press ESC when i have the game on. I can minimize the screen and open firefox and type this, so i know there is nothing wrong with my keyboard x.x Can someone help? i just want to play this game!!

Even when i am in game my keyboard still allows me to press CTRL ALT DEL to open the task manager to close the game, but nothing else on the keyboard in game works!

I know this might sound as a lazy answer and you guys experiencing this issue have probably already tried doing this, but if you haven't, try any of the following:

- Make sure the game is installed on some folder other than C:\Program Files if you're running any version of Windows Vista upwards (namely 7);
- Try installing and running the game as administrator, and make sure to tinker around with compatibility options -- setting it to Win98 compatibility tends to get the best results, but try and disable desktop composition as well;
- If you have a wireless keyboard or mouse, disconnect and re-connect them again, they tend to be troublesome when it comes to games, especially older ones, like Nox. If you have any wired keyboard and/or mouse, try plugging them in and see if that makes any difference. Make sure to check whether you have the most recent keyboard/mouse drivers;

If, after trying all of this, you still can't solve your problem, I'd reach GOG Support and wait for an answer, or maybe someone more in the know than me can eventually address your particular issue in this thread.

Ok apparently this is a common problem for other games as well and I got it working with this solution. You have to go into window task manager and disable OSDMAIN.EXE. Keyboard works fine after.

Does anyone have the solution on OSX? I can't type in any words in the game, except the "esc" button.

There is no way to Fix this error. uninstall Nox and then reinstall. This worked for me

I have a really annoying problem with keyboard buttons in games. My keyboard is always set on english, but when i enter any game , the buttons that are shown in games or in keyboard buttons setting(ingame) are greek which are different with words on my keyboard or in some games, the game shows a button on the screen but without any words on it. In some parts of games that wants us to press specific buttons (usually in cutscenes that include minigames), it becomes much more annoying. Every time I have to test all buttons on keyboard to find the one I have to press to successfully pass that mission (cutscene)
Does anybody have any solutions?
