I'm new to GoG.com, but it seems that even when games are reported as being compatible on Windows and Mac that's often not the case in reality. Just glancing through these forums it looks like lots of people are having trouble playing it on Windows. How is it on Mac? I don't want to waste my money, though I'd love to revisit childhood memories and play this game again!

Thanks!

No idea. GOG offers a 30-day money back guarantee if support is not able to help you get the game running.

Oh, I guess you bought it. Good luck.

It plays just great on my MacBook Pro. It's an early 2011 model w/i5 processor, Intel HD3000 integrated graphics and OSX 10.6.8.

Hope this helps. Game is still fun and good looking today.
I just noticed scrolling through misc posts that supergog666 posted this the day before posting Mac gameplay issues with the game (Can't get past the character creation screen. Help please!).

Unfortunately no one else answered, so @supergog666, I hope you got things resolved.

For anyone else who comes across this post, it would seem that the current GOG installer (version 1.0.0.10) for Nox on OS X is broken. I posted the necessary rebuild steps to the aforementioned post, as well as a standalone discussion here (Working Nox Install for OS X).
